1) on 3rd April 2019 we had celebrated Postgraduation day in which semester-4 students demonstrated their ePortfolio in which students can displayed their five years literature journey especially the learning outcome of Master Degree.

2) On 16th April ICT Committee has organized Workshop for Burning DVDs in which students from sem-4 and sem-2 have taken active part and learnt how to burn DVDs of their an academic presentation videos.

Academic Events of March Month 2019: Dept of English MKBU

1) on 2nd & 3rd March we had guest lectures on ELT-2 by Prof. Atanu Bhattacharya sir from Central University of Gujarat.

2) On 4th March we had final Phase of academic writing by Scholar Ndoricimpa Clement in which 11 students submitted their argumentative essays.

3) On 5th March we had a talk with author Bhupendrasinh Raol on his book "Rasaynik Geeta" organized by Semester-4 student Kavitaba Gohil.

4) On 9th March we had Introductory  group task on the novel "Sense of an Ending" in which Hema Goswami, Reena Khasatiya, Niyati Pathak, Dharma Gohel, Dharaba Rayjada and Disha Gediya presented their topics.

5) On 9th March we have GPSC session by Rajnish Tomar organized by Semester-4 student Mahirpari Goswami.

6) On 18th March we had Ph.D viva of the Scholar Namrata Vyas at  academic court hall  MKBU.

7) On 19th March, as per the tradition of the Department, we had celebrated Holi(Festival of colors) at the department of English.

8) On 22nd March 2019 we had Annual and farewell functions of Sem-4 students organized by Sem-2 students of Department of English. Morning session was about Annual report which was presented by Senior students and Grand Farewell function was organized by Juniour students.

Academic Events of February Month 2019: Dept of English MKBU

1. Feedback session on Academic writing

On 4th February there was feedback session by the research Scholar Mr. Clement in which he finds out the errors from the essays which were written by students.

2. Academic tour to Junagadh

On 5th and 6th we had an Academic tour to junagadh in which we had visited several places and also interacted with the students of schools and colleges. Total 36 students from both semester and 5 staff members went to visit the place. There was one former student also Miss Alpa Ponda.

3. Film Screening: URI The Surgical Strike

On 10th February, Film Screening Committee organised to watch URI in the theatre, because there was one unit from Sem 4 about Cinema in which we are supposed to do film criticism. There are total 17 students from both the semester went to see the film.

6. Cultural Evening by Dhruv Bhatt

On 13th February we had cultural evening in which the famous poet Dhruv Bhatt recited some beautiful poems and songs. Gujatati department presented drama and one solo song also.

7. Guest Lecture by Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee

On 15th and 16th February, Sem 2 had guest lecture on Culture and Anarchy by Prof. Sanjay Mukherjee. On 16th there was combine class on net/set in which sir has given questions related to cultural studies for practice.

8. Opening Ceremony of University Gym Center

On 9th February there was an opening ceremony of university Gym center in which one student from our dept went to see the opening(Vipul dabhi)

3) Christmas celebration- 26 December

On 26 we have Christmas special daily schedule and also the beginning of new semesters, Sem 2 and 4. Many students participated in various column and presented items related to Christmas. After that there is chocolate distribution in class.
