Hello Readers,

                        This blog has created with the purpose of sharing work and information regarding Documentation Committee of Smt. S. B. Gardi Department of English MK Bhavnagar University.

                 Documentation Committee



"Documentation is an important aspect of accountability which not only provides a record of the work being done but also recognizes efforts and reinforce the system"


                                                                         

           *Importance of Documentation*

General meaning of Documentation is a 'Material which provides official information and evidence and serves as a record'. In any field there should be documentation. Which keeps the event alive for longer period of time. If history is not documented very well by someone then perhaps we do not have the knowledge about it.

"If it is not in writing, it didn't happen". People would not believe in your words if do not document the things properly, for example if you tell your friends that I have done this thing but they do not believe and ask proof like today's screenshot. So, proof is much important to be trustworthy. One should cultivate the habit of document like Western people who always with Pen, dairy and camera. History depends on Document, through the document we can live our history.

*Function of Documentation Committee in Dept of English MKBU*

Our Department is the Hub of academic events and activities.  Documentation committee is connected with all committees of the Department we can say that the Documentation committee is the mother of all committees because  it's prime duty of Documentation committee to collect the document of various events from all committees and prepare the report of each events at the end of the year.


 *Various committees of Department Of English*

We have Twelve different committees which take care of academic as well as non-academic events. Each committee contains two leaders to guide the members for betterment of events, the Leaders are from seniors and juniors can be the member of committee.

Here, I have mentioned the names of committees with their leaders

 1) Documentation Committee- Abul Abedi & Hema Goswami

2) ICT Committee- Ramiz Solanki & Zankhna Matholiya

3) Daily Schedule Committee- Kavitaba Gohil & Mayuri Solanki

4) Gardening Committee- Jagruti Vasani & Mayuri Solanki

5) Celebration Committee- Nirali Dungrani & Sagar Vaghela

6) Library Committee- Reena Khsatiya & Jyotiba Gohil

7) Art & Creativity Committee- Riddhi Joshi & Niyati Pathak

8) Sports & Recreation Committee- Vipul Dabhi & Ravji Jalondhra

9) Movie screening Committee- Charmi Vyas & Nirali Dungrani

10) Bulletin Board Committee- Niyati Pathak & Jagruti Vasani

11) Finance Committee- Abul Abedi & Reena Khasatiya

12) Photocopy Committee- Zankhna Matholiya & Nusratjaha Shaikh


  • Facebook and Blog as Digital Dairy:
We use facebook and Blog as a digital diary. To record all the events we keep on writing facebook post and Blog on the day of any event so it would be so easy to make documentations of entire year.
